how come its cheaper to insure a sv650 than a ninja 250r? iv dont my cbt and just passed my 33bhp restricted?

The Ninja 250 is more popular to steal.
Also…younger people would be more inclined to buy a Ninja 250, and so because statistically that age group are probably involved in more accidents on this model bike. Older people will tend to ride the SV650′s (so the older age groups are more prone statistically to falling off a SV650, than they would a Ninja 250). This may mean that the older age groups will probably find the SV650 more to insure than the NInja 250.
Another thing could be price. A Ninja 250 is probably worth more than an SV650, so this can bump up insurance costs.

I prefer the SV650 so I’d get it. Also it will feel better to ride as it’ll have mnore midrange power than the Ninja 250. PLUS I personally think the SV650 looks the best out of the two.
