How much could I get for my motorcycle?

I have a 1985 Honda Rebel 250. It’s blue. Has a couple scuffs. The seat is torn a little and the right turn signal doesn’t work. It has side bags and highway pegs. It runs perfectly and I have service records for it for it’s entire life. I also have an owner’s manual. I put new mirrors on it and a blue neon underneath. I want to sell this bike so I can get a sport bike. I want something a little bigger. I just bought this to learn on. What do you think I could get for it? What should my asking price be? Thanks!

nada guide says about $1200

I’d ask for $1600 and see who can come the closest. Somebody may offer you $1450 and you still make out good.

This way they’d feel like they got a $150 discount. Anything is good as long as you get more than $1200
