What is the difference between the cbr600rr and the hornet?

I know the cbr is a race replica and has fairings and aggressive seating but is the engine different?

Yes, the engines are very different. The 600rr has a racing engine and the 599′s engine is tuned for mid-range and has less top-end power. You may notice that the 599 (hornet) gets better gas mileage because it uses less power. The 600rr has better brakes, suspension, and it is lighter. That just means it stops better, turns better and well, it cost more too.
