
Established as Kawasaki Aircraft Company to primarily produce components and aircraft parts, Kawasaki began their first foray into the world of cycling in 1949 with a motorcycle engine. Taking three years to develop and complete, it was mass manufactured a year later as a 148cc engine with four time, there a single cylinder and a maximum power of 4 PS.
Twelve months in 1954, the bike was completely finished first manufactured under a part of the largest Meihatsu Kawasaki Aircraft Company. However, it took six years for the company to build a company dedicated to motorcycles and in 1960, with the imminent opening, the company bought Meguro Motorcycles and began mass producing motorbikes immediately.
Over the years, Kawasaki has entered teams in different competitions Running with the success of the first coming in 1969 when Dave Simmonds won the 125cc World Championship.
Shade in all the other teams two-wheelers through the mid from 1970 to mid-1980, Kawasaki won the medal to medal in various classes and are firmly established in the racing scene with its world-class motorcycles.
After several years of career with different teams and runners in 2007, Kawasaki created a subsidiary company of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Kawasaki Motors Racing to take care of all racing activities that Kawasaki are involved in – all the MotoGP team.
Only winners of the Superbike World Championship (1993), while that Reg Pridmore and Eddie Lawson are credible mentions, two of the most famous runners are permanently Kawasaki Anton Mang and Kork Ballington. Mang won several championships Kawasaki world in the 1980s in the 250cc and 350cc class, while classes Ballington was Mang's predecessor, winning two world championships in 1978 and 1979, both the 250cc and 350cc categories.
Although Mang and Ballington are famous for riding Kawasaki motorbikes, Kawasaki's winningest and most popular tour is definitely Rider Doug Chandler. The American rider raced for Kawasaki in the 1990s and early 2000s, winning three AMA Superbike Championship over time – the first in 1990, the second in 1996 and the final in 1997. One of four drivers to win the AMA Grand Slam – a mile, half mile short track, TT and race – Chandler was inducted into the Hall of AMA Moto Fame in 2006.
Because racing bikes, Kawasaki have produced some fantastic racing bikes. Since early 1990 KSE500 the popular KZ900, the most famous bikes are definitely their range Kawasaki Ninja. With fewer than 20 bikes with the label of Ninja, which are popular with all types of drivers as is a bike for all the types and skill of the riders. Going back in the mid-1980s with the Ninja ZXR 750 to the currently popular ZZR1400, each bike is the same, famous Kawasaki characteristics but is individual in its own right. It is also important to note that due to its nature, Kawasaki Motorcycles has always played the role of Maverick in the industry and the feeling of independence of its main competitors has always been present.
